Toni was surrounded by loving, caring people throughout her fight with cancer – but she constantly worried about those who weren’t fortunate enough to have such people in their lives. She wanted everyone to have the strength she received through having friends they could count on, and that’s what Toni’s Friends do! Volunteer to be one of Toni’s Friends, and become a friend to someone who desperately needs the positive healing that comes from a smiling, caring visitor. Toni’s Friends will be assigned a patient who is battling cancer, and will commit to visiting that person either at home or in the hospital. Toni’s Friends will become the bright spot in the lives of these paitents, just as Toni was the sunshine in our lives!
